It all started when I thought to myself,
' Oh good, I have just got friday off of work and I have finished college early I can go home and get some texturing done'.
Why did I have to tempt fate. Not ten minutes later but I find myself holding up my rather funny angled garage door wondering how I managed to pull it off. Twenty minutes later still underneath it with my house keys happily hanging from the lock on the other side of the door I sucumb to defeat and ring my Father in Law .............................................................................Well, the chuckle brothers may be the only people who have ever said 'to me, to you' more than we did, but still the door would not attach itself to the garage deciding that hanging half open half closed was now its main ambition in life. After a couple of helpful neighbours pointed out that the garage door was broken we had a coffee: and called a man with a van.
Two hours later, after half a lawn had been mowed, rain had happened and I had sat in my garage looking at bricks and texturing things in my head, he arrived, and I watched him unhook a thing, screw up another thing wiggle bits here and there then oil the buggery out of the door. I then had to give him £51.75. BIG BIG BUGGER.
What seemed to have been an extra half days texturing turned out to be long time not doing anything very much for more money than I earn in a day. And no texturing. Oh well. What can you do.
As it happened it didn't end there. Max has been playing up and I have managed only minor feats of genius tonight.
As you can see in the image, my textures have decided to sparadically disappear.
They are there in the renders but not in the working screens, which is a pain.
But the good news is I have prevailed at creating an Alpha Decal. Oh yes one of them.
It needs tweaking but after many error boxes declairing a lack of memory and what not, there is a graffiti graphic on my wall. It may just have been all worth it
