Texturing.............A New Day

Today has been a good day. Not only did I win at fifa..............something of a feat itself, I feel really good about texturing. Having looked at Swiss' work and seen his process it has enabled me to work out how I would like to go about the project. This may be a step backwards in terms of texturing the buildings but I see it as two steps forward in terms of the learning process. I think it is a valuable skill to be able to take a few steps back from your work to see the larger picture.

What is the larger picture you say? Well I am doing this course to learn, so in short learning is the bigger picture. I have attempted to texture the buildings as shown by Dean and I feel that I have achieved an adequate result. Ok I have not added any decals or normal maps etc, but I don't feel comfortable with how it is progressing. I really want to have a go at unwrapping the entire scene but leaving each wall separate so that I have more control. I really enjoy photoshop and want to build on that skill. I am hoping that unwrapping the entire scene again will allow me to progress in areas that I can then use in further projects.
